Yosyfovych Live

JOSYFOVYCH LIVE is a band from Lviv, Ukraine, that performs profound and rare Ukrainian authentic music, romances, selected 20th-century popular songs, Cossack songs, and their own compositions based on texts by Taras Shevchenko and contemporary Ukrainian poets. The band is led by Ukrainian singer Jurij Josyfovych and exists as a lavish acoustic line-up combining two guitars, cello, percussion and voice. The band combines traditional Ukrainian songs with a contemporary chamber sound, creating an intimate and expressive musical language.
