Słowiany

Słowiany was founded in 2012 on the initiative of a married couple, graduates of the Academy of Music – Aleksandr and Iryna Dracz. The band consists of five professional musicians from Poland and Ukraine. The name is closely connected to the repertoire performed by the group. They are a group of friends brought together by music. They perform original compositions and arrange well-known folk songs from various Slavic countries. Recently, rock influences and Balkan rhythms have become the dominant features of their music. The 44th Lemko Vatra in Zdynia is an opportunity for everyone to assess the progress of Słowiany – they last performed in Zdynia at the 32nd Vatra.
